Dr. Ashley Dzubak - Veterinarian

Growing up near Pittsburgh PA, Dr. Ashley Dzubak began her academic journey in Ohio, where she pursued a rigorous and rewarding undergraduate education at the University of Findlay, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in three majors. Driven by her lifelong dream of becoming a well-versed veterinarian, she went on to study both traditional (Western) and holistic (Eastern) veterinary medicine.

Her adventurous spirit led her to St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Passionate about providing alternative therapies for her patients, Dr. Dzubak furthered her training by completing coursework in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM)- which included Chinese Herbal Medicine, Chinese Food Therapy, and Chinese Acupuncture. Receiving her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) from Chi University in July 2023, Dr. Dzubak does not foresee her alternative medicine training stopping anytime soon.

While she enjoys caring for both dogs and cats, Dr. Dzubak has a special passion for feline medicine. She has worked as a feline-only practitioner and is a member of several professional organizations, including the FelineVMA and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). She is also continuing her education through The University of Sydney’s two-year Feline Medicine distance-learning program.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Dzubak enjoys reading fantasy and historical fiction, practicing aerial hoop, and traveling—for both cat shows and leisure. At home, she is proudly “owned” by her beloved feline children, including Persephone, a blind rescue who followed her home from Grenada.
