Dr. Austin Thompson - Associate Veterinarian

Hailing from Perry, Georgia, Dr. Thompson earned his Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a focus on wildlife from Valdosta State University.

He then attended Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he attained his doctorate in 2019. Over the last four years, Dr. Thomspon has served as a mixed animal practitioner in west Tennessee, caring for creatures of all shapes and sizes. April marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Dr. Thompson and his wife, Taylor, as they embarked on their move to Texas, ready to embrace the next phase of their lives. Their family includes a beloved four-legged daughter named Anna, with a two-legged addition on the way!

Outside the hospital, he is an avid outdoorsman, finding solace and joy in activities that connect him with nature. From hiking in the mountains to the thrill of deep-sea fishing, he is always eager to explore new outdoor adventures. If you have any recommendations for must-see outdoor spots, he is all ears!
