For Dr. Katy LeVon, caring for animals has never just been a career—it’s a lifelong calling. No matter where she has lived across the United States, her passion for helping animals and the people who love them has remained constant.

Dr. LeVon earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Findlay before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She began her career in Billings, Montana, practicing both general and emergency medicine at a large 24/7 hospital, while also serving as a veterinarian at ZooMontana and gaining experience with a wide range of exotic species.

In 2017, she moved to Denver, where she became an ER Lead Doctor and later a Medical Director in 2021. Over the years, she has led teams, mentored veterinarians, and cared for countless pets and their families.

Driven by a vision to create something more personal, Dr. LeVon founded Livewell Animal Hospital – Green Valley Ranch in 2026. Her goal is simple: to provide thoughtful, compassionate, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with every pet and family she serves—because every pet deserves exceptional medicine, and every family deserves a veterinarian they trust.

Dr. LeVon is passionate about supporting all pets through every stage of life. In 2025, she became a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian and a Certified Veterinary Business Leader. She is also a USDA Accredited Veterinarian, allowing her to provide domestic and international health certificates for pet travel, and is a Fear Free Certified Practitioner, focusing on reducing stress and anxiety for her patients during visits.

Today, she enjoys caring for dogs, cats, and exotic pets while leading the Livewell team. Outside of the hospital, she stays active at the gym, spends time with family, and enjoys exploring Colorado.

Dr. LeVon looks forward to welcoming you and your pet to Livewell Animal Hospital and partnering with you through every stage of their life.
