Dr. Lexi Nichols is a local Southern California native with a lifelong passion for animals and helping them live their healthiest, happiest lives. Growing up, her love for animals was matched only by her love for sports. She was recruited to play Division I soccer at Columbia University, where she earned her undergraduate degree and developed a strong sense of teamwork and discipline that carries into her veterinary career today.
After four exciting years in New York City, Dr. Nichols found herself missing the ocean and sunshine. She went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of St. Kitts, where she not only gained invaluable hands-on experience but also adopted her beloved island dog, Charlie, a “coconut retriever.” She completed her clinical training at North Carolina State University (Go Wolfpack!) before returning home to Orange County to pursue her dream of working as a small animal general practitioner.
Dr. Nichols is known for her warm personality, strong client communication, and commitment to providing the best care possible for her patients. She loves building relationships with pet parents and treating every animal as if they were her own.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can usually find her running along the beach, hiking, playing flag football, snowboarding, or hitting the tennis court.
