A lifelong Washingtonian, Candy Cooper grew up on a small farm in the Pacific Northwest surrounded by animals of all kinds. Early experiences caring for abandoned pets with her mother sparked a deep compassion for animals and laid the foundation for a career in veterinary medicine.
Beginning in 1995 cleaning kennels, her path has since included managing hospitals, working in pet nutrition, and serving as a relationship manager for one of the largest specialty veterinary hospitals on the West Coast. Throughout her career, her respect for veterinarians and their teams has only grown, continually inspired by their dedication, resilience, and heart.
At her core, Candy is most passionate about the relationship-building side of veterinary medicine—educating clients, supporting families, and helping pets live healthier, happier lives.
Outside of work, she and her husband of 20 years share their home with three beloved dogs: Ruby, a soulful 19-year-old Schnauzer; Frankie, a spirited 15-year-old Toy Poodle mix; and Benny, a lively young Boston Terrier. She also enjoys photography, skiing, and overlanding adventures in the Cascade Mountains, where she finds balance and perspective. Veterinary medicine has given her not only a meaningful career but also lifelong friendships and countless stories she cherishes
