Dr. Mistarz is a veterinarian with a strong foundation in general practice and a special interest in soft tissue surgery and oncology.
Born in the suburbs of Chicago and raised in Northeast Georgia, she completed her undergraduate studies at Clemson University before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2019. Since then, she has practiced in both the Virginia Beach region and New Orleans, gaining broad experience in preventative care, urgent care, and comprehensive companion‑animal medicine.
At home, she enjoys life with her two dogs—Ellie, a lovable Golden mix, and Kolache, her endearingly simple-minded Great Dane. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs, visiting local craft breweries, and keeping active.
