I can not say enough kind words about Dr. Vaas. We have been trusting him with our animals for the past 25+ years. He is extremely kind, knowledgeable, caring, understanding, patient, and empathetic. He truly cares about the well-being of the animals. He always has clear and straightforward explanations of options for care. The BEST experience I’ve had! It was hard finding the right vet after Brookside closed. Honestly, I wish i heard of them sooner. They were very caring and upfront and explained every detail of what/why was happening, then explained in every detail on how to fix the problem. Very affordable!

Convenient location. Easy online booking for immediate, same day appointment. Friendly, helpful staff. Dr Vass provided attentive, prompt and efficient wound care. In addition, Dr Vass “checked-in” the next day via text to check the status of healing. Terrific follow up and customer experience. Great addition to the neighborhood.

We have had Dr. Vaas as our veterinarian for over 15 years. He is THE best. We live in Herriman but I don’t trust anyone but Dr. Vaas with my pups so I happily drive to Millcreek. My ShiTzu/Maltese mix is 12 and I just can’t trust his care to anyone but Dr. Vaas. He’s been with us through the death of one dog to cancer. His advice is always what is best for my pups, not what will make him more money. He truly cares for my pups and I can feel it when I’m there. If you are looking for a clinic/hospital for your pups I highly recommend Dr. Vaas at Livewell in Millcreek.

Dr. Vaas and his team are truly exceptional. Our mini golden dachshund’s eye and face swelled up suddenly overnight on a Sunday—we had to take her to an emergency vet, but knew she’d need regular vet care and surgery with a suspected tooth abscess. Our regular vet wasn’t available, however we’ve met Dr. Vaas as Livewell is next to our salon. Dr. Vaas got us in on Monday and operated at 8am Tuesday. He was so thorough, knowledgeable and kind through the entire process. The team was amazing—they even snuggled her up in blankets and cradled her on the couch until I could pick her up post op! You won’t regret going here—they are truly amazing and the experience and care are next level. Thank you so much, Livewell Team and Dr. Vaas!

Livewell Animal Hospital is a new beautiful place to have your pet taken care of. The best thing is the kind caring friendly staff. I have had Dr Vass as my dogs and cats vet for 25 years. I have had dogs for many years and have other vets. Dr Vass is the most knowledgeable kind professional vet i have ever had my dogs taken care of. I am very happy with the care I have always had with Dr Vass taking care of my pets. The prices are very reasonable too.
