John Von Kieckebusch - Lead Veterinarian, Founder

Dr. John von Kieckebusch has been practicing veterinary medicine since earning his degree from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.

After nearly a decade of serving the Jacksonville, Florida community, he relocated to NoMa to establish Livewell Animal Hospital of NoMa. Dr. John has a strong clinical interest in cardiology, surgery, dentistry, and dermatology. He has advanced training in ultrasonography and is a graduate of the WAVE Academy of Veterinary Ultrasound Imaging Program. Additionally, he completed his Master's degree in Small Animal Cardiology.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. John enjoys traveling, skiing, and trying new restaurants in the area. He and his wife share their home with two beloved French Bulldog rescues: Tater and Chip.
