Dr. Sanchez earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and has a special interest in senior and geriatric patients, with a strong focus on preserving quality of life at every stage.
She is particularly passionate about internal medicine and approaching complex cases thoughtfully and methodically.
Her practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine. She regularly reviews current veterinary literature, often spending weekends reading journal articles to ensure her patients receive care informed by the most up-to-date research. She is deeply committed to team education and frequently develops continuing education programs for her technicians so that every patient is treated with the same high standard of care, consistency, and compassion.
Outside the clinic, you will always find her with her best friend by my side- Kaiya. Whether it’s planning play dates for her with her dog friends or going on hikes, they stay busy.
