Dr. Lauren Hendren, our Founding Lead Veterinarian, brings over a decade of practice experience to our clinic.
With a passion for challenging surgical procedures, abdominal ultrasound, dentistry, dermatology (especially ears), and internal medicine, Dr. Hendren prioritizes wellness care for dogs and cats, dedicated to nurturing the human-animal bond.
Her academic journey includes a BS in Communication from Northwestern University and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Dr. Hendren's background includes a former career as a musical theater actress, a love for reading, and occasional ventures into karaoke.
Originally from Lexington, KY (Go Cats!), Dr. Hendren and her husband, Jeff, have proudly called the Charlotte area home since 2014. Their family includes two wonderful children and a sweet Golden Retriever named Fiona.
