Dr. Ellery Green was born and raised in North Carolina and completed undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University, earning degrees in Chemistry and Molecular Biology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University in 2018.
After veterinary school, Dr. Green began her career in Alaska, where limited access to specialists allowed her to quickly gain broad clinical experience in trauma cases, surgery, and dentistry. Her time there helped shape her confidence and versatility as a veterinarian while reinforcing her passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care.
Following her Alaskan adventure, she returned to North Carolina to be closer to family and friends. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, and feline medicine, which holds a particularly special place in her heart.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Green enjoys traveling, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and spending quiet days at home with her beloved 18-year-old cat, Rambo, who she describes as her world.
