Ky Erickson - Hospital Manager

Ky Erickson, CVT is our Hospital Manager and a passionate advocate for pets and the people who care for them.

Ky has been tech since 2013 and brings a deep well of clinical and leadership experience to urgent care. She graduated from Argosy University and completed a rotating internship at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Center, where she gained hands-on exposure to multiple specialties. A Certified Veterinary Technician at heart, Ky is especially passionate about being a strong voice for animals and ensuring every patient receives compassionate, gold-standard care.

Ky loves teaching and mentoring—particularly training technical skills and helping new technicians grow with confidence. Her professional interests include density and urgent care, and she thrives on making a real difference for animals in need, especially during their most vulnerable moments. She’s devoted to making sure every pet who walks through urgent care doors is treated with expertise, empathy, and respect.

At home, Ky’s world is full and lively. She shares it with a very playful (and accident-prone!) Bernese Mountain Dog named Frito, and a CHS kitty named Weebles, adopted from the Bound Between—who never lets her condition stop her from being a perfectly normal, happy cat. Ky also loves spending time with her two kids. When she finds a quiet moment, you’ll likely find her reading, hiking Minnesota state parks, gardening in the summer, or painting through the winter months.
