Dr. Montgomery is from Saint Paul, Indiana and moved to Nashville in May 2026 following graduation from the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine (Boiler Up!).
His previous experiences primarily include assisting and extering in general practice settings, but the pace and challenges of small animal urgent care drew him in to choose Livewell as his first associate veterinarian position. Dr. Montgomery looks forward to helping animals and their people while growing in his soft tissue surgery skills and critical case management.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time at the gym, going for runs downtown, exploring new hiking trails, nightlife with friends, and anything involving his loveable Labrador, Trixie.
