Originally from Washington State, Dr. Bowie earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Medical Sciences with a minor in Animal Sciences from Washington State University.
She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University in Grenada, completing her clinical training at Texas A&M University with a focus on mixed animal medicine. After graduation, Dr. Bowie began her career at a small mixed animal practice in Georgia, primarily treating companion animals. In 2021, she relocated to Arizona, where she has continued to pursue her professional interests in urgent care medicine and surgery. Dr. Bowie is passionate about delivering high-quality care and particularly values the opportunity to provide immediate and after-hours services to pets in need.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Bowie enjoys life with her husband, Braxton, and their two dogs—River, whom she adopted during veterinary school in the Caribbean, and Hubert, a golden retriever. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, soaking up the Arizona sun while hiking, camping, and traveling.
