Raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, she earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Maryland, College Park. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA.
She is passionate about empowering clients through education and communication, achieving the best quality of life possible for her patients, and serving as someone clients feel they can trust with their furry family members, in both the happy and the more challenging moments.
Dr. Hidalgo is of Cuban descent and is happy to serve both English and Spanish-speaking clients.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Hidalgo loves to get active, whether at the gym or through outdoor adventures such as yoga, paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, or the occasional Triathlon. She loves good food of all cultural backgrounds, a strong espresso, traveling abroad, and spending time with her two Labrador Retrievers as well as her spouse, who is also a veterinarian!
