Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Stephanie Galvan has proudly called Northern Virginia home for more than 18 years.
She graduated summa cum laude from UCLA and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University, graduating second in her class.
After spending 18 wonderful years caring for pets and families in the community, Dr. Galvan is excited to open Livewell Animal Hospital of Falls Church — a place built on warmth, trust, and genuine connection. Her vision is to create a space where clients feel welcome and supported, and where every pet receives high-quality and personalized care.
Dr. Galvan believes that the best veterinary care happens through partnership — working hand in hand with pet owners to keep their companions healthy, happy, and thriving through every stage of life.
When she’s not in the hospital, you’ll likely find Dr. Galvan playing softball, snowboarding, traveling, hiking, or going on an adventure with her niece. At home, she’s loved and entertained by her cat, Gus Gus, and is looking forward to having a dog to join her family soon.
