Dr. Stephanie Townsend is a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Townsend graduated from North Oldham High School and went on to major in Biopsychology at Transylvania University. After graduating from veterinary school at Auburn University in 2016, Dr. Townsend completed a rotating internship at BluePearl Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, Georgia. She spent her first 5 years practicing Vet Med in Atlanta and her most recent 4 years here in her hometown at Lyndon Animal Clinic.
Dr. Townsend's favorite part of the 'job' is seeing the special bond that all animal owners have with their pets. In fact, Dr. Townsend says seeing this relationship is what makes going into work not seem like a job at all. She loves getting to know and treating each fur baby as if they were her own.
Dr. Townsend enjoys spending time with her husband, Elliott, their two children and the sweetest Orange cats (Leon and Lola) in her spare time. She loves doing anything outdoors, involving art or trying new delicious foods!
