Your Pet's First Visit
A pet's first visit to the vet can seem a bit daunting, so we've put together a list of info and resources to help you prepare.
At your first appointment, we will gather information about your pet’s background, health, diet, and training. We can also address any questions or concerns you might have.
Your veterinarian will examine your pet from nose-to-tail, looking for things like heart murmurs, ear infections, and/or parasites. Your vet can also provide pet-proofing tips, training assistance, and parasite protection recommendations.

Appointment Policies
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your pet's appointment for check-in. If you have not filled out all relevant patient forms yet, plan to arrive 10 minutes ahead of your appointment.
While we do our best to make sure all of our patients are seen on time, there will be times of occasional unexpected delay due to an emergency or because we are providing care for a patient that needs a little more time. Please accept our apologies should this occur, and understand that the same dedication and courtesy will be provided to your pet should they ever need it.

Came in with my little 13 week Doberman Amber and they were so great to her. Loved all over her, made her feel so comfortable, and gave her food to distract from the shots that she didn’t even recognize! The staff there is so kind and caring. We sent off testing for her and within 24 hours I got her results. They were happy to answer all my questions and were so good to my Amber. Will be using them for all her needs for sure.

We are very grateful to the vet at Livewell Animal Hospital of Edmond for taking the time to catch our ancient 15 yr old Ridgeback who tottered out of his yard when the storm blew open a gate. They scanned and found his microchip, called AKC ReUnite and then called me to confirm he was a dog I bred. I begged them to hold him until the owner could pick him up, which they did. Thank you!!!!!

I can’t express enough gratitude to LiveWell! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, kind, and even funny! We won’t be going anywhere else for our furry friends' needs!I saw a previous review of someone saying that LiveWell truly cares about the health of pets, and wow. Even that was an understatement. 10/10 will go again!

Had a great first visit with Dr. Stock and Marissa! They were so sweet to my girl, who was a little bit growly. They were patient and took measures to make her feel comfortable. Having a reactive dog is hard and they didn’t see it as an issue at all! So thankful we found you!! ❤️
